Wondering if Loop Returns’ pricing structure is worth it?
Loop Returns has recently gone up-market as they removed their $29/month plan, which has left them focusing on larger enterprises.
In this guide, I’ll go over everything that is publicly known about Loop Returns’ pricing structure, including how it calculates its pricing, its pricing tiers for both Shopify and non-Shopify platforms, and whether it offers good value for money.
➡️ At the end of this guide, I’ll also introduce you to a comprehensive Loop Returns alternative that offers a more affordable pricing structure that is easy to set up, has a good customer experience, and does not require you to use your carrier accounts.
Loop Returns has 2 different pricing structures:
According to Loop itself, if you’re only interested in Order tracking on its own, you can pay monthly, but other Loop plans, such as their returns management ones, require an annual contract.

Loop Core, the tool’s returns management solution, has 3 paid plans:
➡️ You’ll also have the opportunity to speak with Loop Returns’ team to create a custom plan or work out a plan that is not a flat-based plan.

Loop’s order tracking has 3 paid plans that you can choose from for this new order tracking solution:

Loop’s Shopify pricing includes a free plan, Checkout+, which lets you access its returns management software for free with US & Canada domestic return labels, return bars, and its package protection.
However, I was not able to find information about the returns allowance you’d get in this free plan or its 2 paid tiers:

Loop Returns offers some of the most advanced functionalities on the market for returns and order management, such as their ‘’Shop Now’’, Bonus Credit, and Offset functionalities.
In fact, Loop has processed over 70.5 million returns and has helped merchants retain more than $2 billion in revenue over the past five years, according to G2.
However, it comes at a significantly greater cost than alternatives on the market and annual contract commitments.
If you’re okay with this, then yes, definitely, Loop Returns can offer amazing value for money.
Apart from its pricing concerns, there are a few other caveats to be aware of before making the final decision:

‘’I would love to see additional options regarding carrier integrations for international returns.’’ – G2 Review.

‘’I don't love some of the hiccups we've experienced over the two years we've used the product. We've had issues with exchange amounts because we offer products at sitewide discounts and promo-code options. Most recently, there was an issue where Loop was refunding more than what customers paid for products; it may have been solved, but we're not sure, and we don't know why that happened.’’ – G2 Review.

Sometimes it's challenging to get hold of our account manager or get problems solved. – G2 Review.
ZigZag Global (that’s us) offers the best Loop Returns alternative on the market for merchants looking to optimise and automate their returns management at an international scale.
Instead of locking advanced functionality behind expensive pricing tiers, ZigZag lets you get advanced return analytics, multiple return options, and international returns to 170+ countries at a lower price point.
Unlike Loop Returns, ZigZag offers:
Our returns management solution lets you build a custom returns portal and offers your consumers different return options that help you keep capital in the business and offset the costs of returns.

We also provide merchants with access to 220 localised warehouses and over 1,500 international carrier services, all across 170+ origin countries.
Let’s go over the features 👇 that small brands and enterprises like SportsDirect, Ted Baker, Puma and Swarovski love about ZigZag Global.
ZigZag Global offers a returns portal that can be customised, enabling you to change returns rules alongside white-labelling the portal to reflect your brand.
E-commerce leaders can adapt various new return solutions (such as a gift card, exchange, or cash refund) depending on customers’ reasons for returning.
For example, you can customise the possible reasons for returns to be that the product was faulty, did not fit, or was unsuitable.

Does your store operate on Shopify?
Our returns management solution can also be set up on Shopify with as little effort as a click.
➡️ On the other hand, some customers of Loop Returns have been upset with the fact that it has taken them 1+ months to set up the software.
Here’s why Shopify retailers love our integration:
💡 Our consumer research on returns found that 57% of consumers who are considering returning items would accept a gift card as a refund.
This return option lets you keep capital in the business while benefiting customers with a quick gift card option they can use in your store.

Our returns platform is ideal for international returns, as we facilitate international returns in 170+ countries by connecting you with 1,500+ global carriers.
➡️ ZigZag’s global returns portal can also accept multiple currencies & provides different language settings for international consumers, which is ideal for international brands.
Platforms like Loop Returns that do not facilitate international returns make global retailers use multiple return management solutions for the different countries.
Instead of using multiple return solutions for the USA, Europe, and other regions, you can use ZigZag Global as a global return logistics solution.

ZigZag’s Returns Hub captures structured return reason and condition data at the point of request, so that warehouse teams receive the correct disposition instructions with each parcel.
Our returns hub is a strategically located facility in Germany that we launched to help you manage and optimise the international returns process.
Here’s what you can expect:
💡 ZigZag’s warehouse has received approval from the German authorities for simplified customs clearance for same-day processing.
Similar to Loop Returns, the goal of our global returns solution is not only to manage your returns but to help you save time, money, and improve the loyalty of your shoppers.
This is why ZigZag Global offers the following return options for your shoppers:

In-store returns are when customers return the product to your store in person to save the costs of a paid return online.
Your online store can implement free in-store returns to your physical locations to slash shipping costs, boost foot traffic to your store, and give shoppers more ways to get a refund.
💡 ZigZag Global also offers in-store drop-off kiosks that are hassle-free for your shoppers to use in your store.

Return to store credit is when consumers get a refund in the form of a gift card to your online store, instead of a monetary refund to their bank account.
As shoppers are happy to accept store credit instead of a refund (since it’s usually of greater value), our team added the option of this return to our retailers’ portal so you can keep capital in the business.
➡️ Return to store credits allows you to increase and maintain the customer lifetime value (LTV).

48% of consumers are happy paying for returns, and there has been a 32% rise in paid returns since last year.
This is why we’ve started recommending that the retailers we work with implement paid returns in their stores.
That means asking consumers to pay a small fee to return their products.
Here are a few reasons why retailers of all sizes have been offering paid returns:
💡 You can check out our recent article on how merchants can deal with bracketing.

Here’s a scenario where you have 5,000 returns per month, and 20% of them are paid returns of £3.
That’ll save you a total of £3,000 per month.

Unlike Loop Returns, which has limited return analytics according to G2 reviews, our returns platform offers advanced reporting that tracks everything for our merchants to view and manage from one portal, such as:
➡️ The retailers that use ZigZag Global can reduce their returns in the long run after evaluating the common reasons why people return products.

ZigZag Global’s Shopify pricing is based on returns per month as well as the level of automations and customisation you’d need.
Our platform has 4 pricing tiers for Shopify merchants:

💡 All of our Shopify pricing plans except the Enterprise plan come with a 14-day free trial.
Note: If your plan exceeds the returns limit, you’ll be charged $0.20 for each additional return.
If you feel like Loop Returns does not offer a good value for money, or is simply too expensive for what you’re looking for, you’re definitely not short on alternative options.
If you’re looking for a returns management platform that can help you reduce return costs, recover lost revenue, and scale globally without having to juggle multiple tools or rigid return rules, ZigZag Global stands out as the strongest Loop Returns alternative in 2026.
